A Night To Remember: Fusion’s Five Year Anniversary - @milliBell
On the night of March 24th, 2016, one friend with a passion for music decided to dedicate a night for her friends and other musicians to perform on stage to showcase their talents and build a fan base. It happened with a small group of people on a small stage located in Kissimmee, FL; once known as Salsa Latina. Fast forward to 5 years later, that idea has now evolved into the #1 Event production and branding agency for urban artists and creatives in the Heart of Orlando.
On March 30th, Fusion and Co will be hosting a milestone show to celebrate their 5th year anniversary. That’s a whole half-of-a-decade inspiring real creativity for those within our culture, bringing all like-minded individuals to share and network their talents all in one place; while creating an atmosphere of vibes and unforgettable moments for everyone in the building. Ain’t no stage like the Fusion Stage, baby and you don’t want to miss this party.
It’s no doubt that Fusion and Co have impacted the city the way it has. Those who have performed on the Fusion stage always are expressing their gratitude for the opportunity it offers, and ticket-buyers are left talking about their experience for days straight. At this point, if you have a ticket to one of their events, it’s guaranteed that you will have a great night out.
The purpose of Fusion and Co, in the words of the CEO, Jennifer Desire Hilaire, “is to develop artists and provide them with opportunities that will not only help grow their career but teach them in the process.” Jenn, who started the company as a young college student and interning for numerous recording studios, has dedicated her time and efforts to make sure it does just that and more.
Over the past year or so, Fusion had expanded from being a performance showcase to now offering resources to guide amateur artists to establish their brand and local fan base. Their popular events aside from their open mic are their educational workshops such as Crucial Conversations and Pass the Aux, which offer real-time advice and information from special guests within the industry. These events consist of moderated panel discussions, some with live Q&A sessions with big-name industry experts, giving out boatloads of personalized information to those who attend. The last workshop held included a special guest A&R for Atlantic Records.
In addition to their workshops, Fusion & Co now provides branding consulting for artists seeking more guidance on launching their careers in music via social media and networking. They proudly hold a roster of talented musicians and have helped them grow successfully despite the trying times of the current pandemic.
Although 5 years may seem short to some, the amount of growth the company has had has been phenomenal. From once starting in a small stage has now turned into a large company that has recruited a whole staff to keep it running. The event now can hold up to 400+ guests and is still on its way up. They even have held not one but two award ceremonies honoring those who have made an impact with their music in Orlando. Fusion events are always the talk of the town and you do not want to miss this celebration as Jenn and her team with Fusion and Co continue to break records in the city.
