R&B Songstress, LaÜni Taps Into Her Latina Roots To Create New Single, Move Your Body - Milli B.
Last week, the up-and-coming R&B singer debuted her very first Latin-inspired single, “Move Your Body”, a sensual song with a mix of Latin afro beats and pop that absolutely calls for a dance routine on a tropical island.
The song is giving sexy ,and in a world where some believe beauty has a standard, Laüni shuts that idea down by executing her own confidence. “I definitely went with more of a sensual vibe. Body positivity is so important to me. I’ve always been super skinny and unfortunately I was reminded of it all the time, not in a good way, which affected my confidence even now. It made me so aware of how everyone saw themselves. I love making everyone feel confident and beautiful in their skin. In my opinion, at the end of the day, what’s inside a person’s mind and heart is what’s most important.”
LaÜni is a Puerto Rican residing in Central Florida and has always loved listening to a mix of both Spanish and English songs growing up. Inspired by Latina mega stars, Becky G and Jennifer Lopez, LaÜni jumps on the latest Latin wave of artists emerging to bring it’s music culture to mainstream media.
This would be the first time the songstress has ever wrote a Spanish song and she reveals that she is working on a full Latin project. “ I definitely have a Spanish and English EP that I’m getting finalized to release later this year. I have more all Spanish singles as well that I’ll be releasing after the EP. “
LaÜni is working hard behind the scenes to stream and promote “Move Your Body”. She even has plans to create a music video. “For this song I submitted it to playlists, I like doing the reviews on IG live or YouTube as well. I pay for promo on IG. I am most definitely doing a music video for this song. I’m actually really excited to do it I want it to be sexy, lots of dancing and bringing the tropical night vibes.”
