For the Love of Dance

On the night of Fusion’s Doses of Fusion showcase, the crowd went wild as dance group, Daniikay, along with two amazing dancers, strutted confidently into each dance move to the sounds of current R&B top songs. Their performance was the perfect twist to an amazing kickoff to our very first showcase of the year by adding not only something different to the table, but an experience to remember. All ladies put on a show that could give you chills as they confidently owned the stage by performing to songs by Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, and more.

The dancing duo came together in 2016, and since then have developed a strong sisterhood driven by loyalty, passion, and love. The two have been together for so long but it didn’t take much time to realize that they needed each other more than just dance partners To them, the friendship is what keeps them grounded. Dancing is just the icing on the cake.

Fusing the personalities of both Danielle and Kendra - a mix of easy going and fierceness - helps them choreograph dances that reflect their bond with one another along with their love for dance. It’s beautiful how their love for dance led them to developing a sisterhood that will last forever and proves that when you follow your passion, all things will line up accordingly… friendships included.

Fusion & Co first introduced Daniikay in the summer of 2019 and has offered an additional platform for the dancers to showcase their talents. They have performed as background dancers for local artists such as Christopher Marciano and IV.
