"We The Stars" - An RnB Anthem for the Everyday Hero

Theres not much to be said about this past year that hasn’t already been said enough. The cloud of negativity that has hovered over all of us the majority of 2020 is undeniable. However, that cloud does have a silver lining. It has forced the everyday person to find strength and empathy inside themselves and to selflessly look out for the well-being of others. 

Those unsung, everyday heroes need to be given their flowers and recognition. A general nod of acknowledgement costs you nothing but can go a long way in paying it forward. It's amazing how impactful a simple Thank You can be.   

I love seeing creatives use their art for the greater good. In the extremely competitive, insecure, and grandiose industry that is the business of music, it's rare to see transparency in an artist or producer. The business model of “look at me” or “I'm better than you” mentality has tainted an art form, that at some point we all fell in love with.   

This is why, it's refreshing to hear a piece of music created solely for others. “We The Stars” is the Thank You I spoke about earlier. Created by Orlando based producer, @BeatsbyDeee, this was his way of saying Thank You. A way to acknowledge those that thought of others before themselves. The track has an upbeat and positive RnB vibe and with lyrics such as “We are Stars, We Shine Brighter in the Darkness” it's an anthem for the everyday person that not only fought through this past year, but fought for those that were not necessarily able to do so for themselves. If you're looking to share some positive vibes to end the year off with. This is a record to do.
