It's a Bop! 'Never Let Me Go' - Kyron
Artist Kyron has been working non-stop on his music as he rolls out his new EP Sweet Surrender. Now, the Ep hasn't dropped just yet, but Kyron gifted us a sweet pop single, 'Never Let Me Go,' to show us what to expect! I got the pleasure to interview with Kyron; back in November 2020 to get to know him more as an artist and the anticipation of his EP. Now, everything is coming to pass! 'Never Let Me Go' is an emotional yet fun pop song that's perfect for a day party, brunching, or an addition to a feel-good playlist. The track starts with an airy beat, with the artist coming in with his harmonious singing and lyrics 'Promise you won't let me gOOoooo' as he pleads to his lover to stay and always be there.
'Never Let Me Go' is something to relate too especially if you've been in a romantic relationship. The lyrics go through the motions of asking your lover to make these expected promises that come with being in love; to be there, to care, and do whatever it takes. Towards the end, the song takes a turn, and the artist faintly begs to be let go. Kyron says he was in a relationship when he began working on the track but became single once he finished the song. "For my security, I need you here so I will be fine." He explains that he was feeling insecure in the relationship, and he knew that something was happening in their bond, causing their feelings to change.
The creative process was "really easy" says the artist. He heard the beat and automatically started writing in the session, in return gifting us a BOP! 'Never Let Me Go' is just a tease for what's to come from Sweet Surrender; I can't wait to hear more. Kyron says to expect multiple vibes from the project, a mix of R&B/Pop, and a bad bitch anthem is on there that's giving BIG ENERGY. So much is in the works for this artist, don't miss out.
