On June 12th, Fusion and Co will be hosting their second I heart R&B show that will be taking place at Soundbar located in downtown Orlando, Fl. There will be seven talented R&B artists taking the stage; and giving all the vibes of rhythm, blues, soul, and love. Jad Saad will be one out of the seven performers. This artist brings a bit of fun to rhythm and blues. With the likes of Justin Bieber and Russ in his sound, Jad Saad still makes it his own. I am currently loving his song Chasing Ghosts, streaming on all platforms. This artist is talented, and I cant wait to see him perform on June 12th.

💛 When did you begin your musical journey?

JS: I started producing music when I was 14 years old on a free trial of fl studio. I was fascinated by the path that Noah Shebib (40) and Drake were forming and extremely inspired by it from both a sound and lyrical perspective.

I started writing songs at 16 and thanks to auto-tuning I had the confidence to put them out... my 40-minute drive to school proved to me you could get better at something through repetition.

I always believed good music would find its way eventually so I kept perfecting the craft and releasing music, and by 19 years old I had a publishing deal in NYC with my amazing team at Arcade Songs. Inspiration kept me dedicated, dedication kept me one step closer to the light at the end of the tunnel.

💛 What does R&B mean to you?

JS: R&B has inspired me since I was a kid. I didn’t listen to a lot of music growing up so I’m still making up for lost time... I look for the feeling R&B music gives you in all the music I listen to and create, regardless of genre. Something about r&b music and its influence on other forms of art just hit the soul differently.

💛 Zodiac Sign?

JS: Aquarius sun, Aries moon, Gemini rising. Chaotic and emotional as I’ve been told. I’m a feeler what can I say?

💛 Pick one R&B artist that you will listen to for the rest of your life

JS: This is really hard so i’m giving a couple ... SZA, Ty $, and Party. big fan of Lucky Daye right now also. Classics: Neyo and Whitney Houston

💛 Describe your sound in three words or less

JS: ear candy

💛 What's next for you as an artist?

JS: I turned 23 in February. Right before I watched the MJ documentary and saw his work ethic and competitiveness from a cellular basis... From that moment I decided I was done being afraid of giving 100% of myself to my craft.

Since then I’ve been dropping weekly content, lining up songs and content for the rest of the year, and making the best music of my life. I’m in build mode. Content is the name of the game - my teammates JellyHouse my videographer and Curtis my photographer are my executors. We brainstorm and bring the music to life visually because today that’s the world we live in. If you can’t supplement great music with a great visual you’re losing...

Find your team and build together & you’ll be unstoppable. I’m done waiting for my chance. It’s been promised again and again and I’ve realized how much that doesn’t matter because what it really comes down to is you taking your life into your own hands. I’m coming for everyone and we’re doing it without any sort of label or management. I don’t need it. I’m doing it for myself and every little kid or 20 something-year-old with a dream they’re afraid of chasing.

your time is now or your time is never. You decide!

I’ve already decided.

-Jasmine Pollard
