What is Fusion?
Fusion & Co. is an event production company that specializes in creating showcases that connect local artists to their fans. We curated some of the best events coming out of Orlando with one objective: To allow an artist to build a fan base and make personal connections.
Fusion was founded in 2016 by Jennifer Hilaire in Orlando, Florida. Since then, the company has played an important role in the city’s urban music community. Aside from running Fusion & Co., Jennifer was a key member of many organizations within the Orlando music community including Level 11 Studios, where artists like XXXTentacion, Wifisfuneral, and many more artists recorded and created some of their debut singles. Respect the Mic, a local showcase event in Orlando where singers, poets, and comedians frequently perform. TSA Showcase, where artists like blu November, Niko Is, Palmer Reed, Tyla Yahweh, and many more got their start at. Studio18 where “community is king” in terms of the industry — also, the place where Jennifer and many other local creatives resided while building some of the best music ever to come out of Orlando. If you've ever been to any of these places mentioned during that era, you saw the bright-smiling Jennifer working, creating, and bringing people together.
Not only did she founded Fusion & Co., but over time has gained a family of reputable artists, singers, engineers, and producers. With her experiences working with so many different creatives, Jennifer felt confident enough to bring to life a vision that would become front and center of the music community in Orlando. From showcases to open mics, workshops, listening sessions, and festivals. Local artists who’ve utilized the opportunity have been able to perform at events like A3C, SXSW, and even connect with Wrldnt Entertainment to serve and host concerts throughout Florida - a company where Jennifer also works as a stage manager. With more than 200 shows booked and hosted Fusion & Co. has given 500+ artists the space to perform in front of an audience.
Over the years, we've not only provided a platform to perform, but we've assisted in educating them to become sole businesses, and as the years go on and our company grows, we are able to offer these services that we believe work such as marketing, promotions, and artists consulting. Fusion and Co. have developed an incubator system that takes an artist through the necessary steps to achieve personal career goals. Some of these steps include educational classes, clearly identifying your core audience, and developing an overall strategic and executable plan for your musical career. Despite the perceived simplicity of overnight viral success in the music business, there actually is a formula for the artist to reach their dreams in this very challenging industry. The method is tried and true and has been proven over and over again. It comes from building a solid foundation one fan at a time. Create a clear plan and direction, then methodically work on that plan to get the results you are looking for. We understand you want to perform live, and you will. Our company was founded on producing incredible live shows for a variety of different artist genres. However, we want to see you leverage these shows into further business opportunities.
