Oriana Campbell Speaks To Artists On Seeking A Support System and Forming Genuine Bonds - Milli B.

In a recent interview at Fusion’s Music Industry Night, panelist Oriana Campbell discussed the importance of finding a good team to stand behind you when you’re an aspiring musician.

Oriana is an Orlando-based brand manager and CEO of one of the cities’ largest music festivals for amateur artists, Culture Fest. She mentions that when she first began her journey, she was driven by the desire to get to know artists and connect them with those who will help bring their vision to life.

She went on to explaining that it also starts with being prepared. In her opinion, she believes having a portfolio of your work makes management easy as it will provide insight on what to expect from you.

As a an artist manager, Oriana strives to make sure you are successful and that you will get paid - but you must be prepared, ready to work, and possess a good attitude. You will have a better chance at forming a solid connection with a team who believes in you and likes who you are as a person.

She emphasized that the line between personal and business relationships are thin, however, at the end of the day, it will always go down an as an exchange. Don’t feel bad if you outgrow them either. Your journey as an artist is a constant road of growth and new experiences.
