How Consistency Was Key for Orlando Media Group’s Digital Rell - MIlli B.
For 7 years, Rell has been dedicated to capturing moments in his life through his passion for photography.
Growing up, he has always been drawn to the streets. The music the culture, the lifestyle is what he knows and being a part of it gave him the passion for wanting to capture it all. He believes the city of Orlando has a strong, unique Hip-Hop culture and wanted to be a part of helping put the city on the map when it comes to the music scene.
In May, Fusion & Co. held it’s Music Industry Night which consisted of a panel of notable creatives in the city, including Rell of Orlando Media Group. He spoke of his brand and what helped him build a reputable photography and videography company in Orlando, FL.
When asked what he found was the greatest resource in building his brand, he stated that being consistent was the best resource to create longevity in the industry. When he noticed that platforms such as SayCheeseTV were featuring artists throughout Florida, he knew he had to be the one to help expose more talent he knew existed from his own city.
He went on to saying that in the past he would connect with many artists without even looking for pay because he believed in the culture and it’s impact in rap/trap music. The freelance photographer now CEO of Orlando Media Group has developed a business plan that works to bring visions to life and visuals that help amateur artists gain exposure.
As an entrepreneur, Rell remained consistent as it was not always easy to build a big media company like OMG. His advice to those in the audience was to “control what you can control” and “stay consistent with your craft”.
