Meet The Performers: Jack Juan
R&B singer/songwriter Jack Juan learned the basics of recording and street team marketing through a high school internship with an independent hip-hop label based in Washington DC. After a move to Florida in 2013; he continued his studies of engineering and vocal production, at Full Sail University and Studio18.
Jack built up some notoriety within Orlando’s hip hop underground open mic and artist showcase scene before releasing compelling visuals to his locally known bops Ride to & Parallel Lines.
In 2021, there are plans to release more music and visuals.

Jack Juan will be bringing the male energy to Fusion's I heart R&B concert. The modern R&B artist will give a sense of rhythm and blues with a hint of hip-hop to the stage. Jack recently did a cover to Summer Walker's My Affection. It's a great take on a man's perspective on relationships and dating. Check out below Jack Juan's plans for his music in 2021!
♡ Where did your fascination for music begin?
I first fell in love with banging on buckets making beats. That moved on to drums. I played the drums in church at a young age and sang in the choir. My father sang professionally, so everybody kind of knew it was coming. I was writing full short songs by grade school.
♡ How would you describe your sound?
I like to think I have a pretty modern take on r&b. It’s pretty heavily influenced by current hip-hop culture but that’s not uncommon. My sincerity is though. I really mean it. Usually, people can tell that.
♡ What does R&B mean to you?
To me, R&B represents a common ground that listeners come to for help classifying and embracing what they feel about love, sex, pain etc. A good r&b record can help you set the mood for intimate times or make a heartbreak not so lonely.
♡ Zodiac sign?
May 20, Taurus, Gemini cusp
♡ Any advice to local artists/first-time performers
I would say if you’re just getting started. To uses every creative idea you have and don’t allow any anxiety to hold back a great presentation. Get a clean set of songs and some slight merch and TAKE IT THERE-EVERY TIME.
♡ 2021, what’s next for you as an artist?
2021 is going to be my biggest release year to date. I have at least two projects and multiple singles set up. In the past, I’ve been a lot more protective over my releases. I wanna change that.
