Meet The Performers: Jocelyn Rachelle
Jocelyn Rachelle is a POP artist born and still residing in Orlando, Fl. Her edgy soulfulness and euphoric delivery give her music the feeling of 90's pop style with a splash of Christina Aguilera and Amy Winehouse's soulful feeling. At the early age of four, Jocelyn had an undeniable and deep passion for music and performing. Growing up in her eyes music was her escape and the only way to express herself. She dealt with so much physical and mental abuse all through her childhood that music was her saving grace. Heavily inspired by Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, Stevie B, and Lil Suzy. The young star set her mind on becoming the biggest entertainer/icon there ever was, but she knew she had lots of work to do. She became an artist in late 2017, where she then released her first single called Change on to SoundCloud and has blazed a trail for her music ever since. She was then booked for her first showcase at SoundBar in downtown Orlando, Fl which was a success. In late 2018 she released her second single called On Call where she began to get a bigger buzz as an artist in Orlando. All through 2019 she was booked and performed as much as she could, building a bigger fan base. She has performed at numerous venues in Orlando, Fl; Soundbar, The Social, Fuego Night club, Gilt, Celine, and Vyce, just to name a few. On October 29, 2019, is when Jocelyn Rachelle got the opportunity she was dreaming of by opening up for one of her favorite artists Doja Cat at The Beacham Nightclub. This was a big deal for the superstar proving she can do anything she sets her mind to. All through 2020, she has been working on her catalog and due to COVID 19, she has not been able to perform. Word has spread of her creating a project called "Purgatory" that may drop soon.
